14 AGOT Tyrion II: In the south, the Wall is thought of as nothing more than a prison. In the north, it's a garrison against wildling raiders.

24 AGOT Daenerys III: Irri & Jhiqui laugh at Doreah's story about a secon moon hatching dragons, even going so afr as to say dragons are terrible monsters before Dany whose house has a dragon sigil. When Viserys is insolent, Jhogo would kill him and Qaro would at least take an ear, but Dany won't think of it.
25 AGOT Bran IV: Maester Lewin says the children of the forest havebeen gone for thousands of years. Yoren says that might be true down here but up past the Wall, who's to say?

43 AGOT Tyrion VI: The Stone Crows see themselves as owning the goat Bronn caught and everything both men have on them because it's their mountain. This is similar to the way lords see things. It's like they seize Tyrion and Bronn for poaching, except their rationale is different.
44 AGOT Eddard XI: Ser Loras offers to go in Lord Stark's stead to bring justice to The Mountain, never thinking he might be refused, a public humiliation. Sansa can't see a single reason for Loras's exclusion while Ned projects his own vengeful feelings onto Loras.

62 AGOT Daenerys VII: When Dany sees thousands of sheep downed by arrows, she thinks "no man of Drogo's khalasar would be such a fool as to waste his arrows on sheep whn there were shepherds yet to kill." 665 Later, Drogo says these lamb men had settled on the Dothraki Sea, where no sheep are permitted. Dany was not fully informed of the Dothrki policy on shepherds.

It is only after her demonstration with Drogo's funeral pyre and her hathcing of dragons that they change their minds and acknowledge her strength.
