Davos smuggles Edric Storm away from Dragonstone before he can be burnt alive. When Melisandre demands the boy and Davos confesses, Stannis raises Lightbringer to execute him. Davos tells Stannis about the letter from the Wall, reading it aloud by the light of the sword that would execute him.
