When Jon refuses to kill the lone traveler sheltering in the ruin of the inn, he is sees his chance when Summer starts killing Thenns. Jon escapes the wildlings and aims for Castle Black, but he's taken Ygritte's arrow and feels guilty about betraying the wildlings.
