The fish market is growing back outside the King's Gate. The river must be reopened to trade, but is treacherous with the wreckage of ships from the Blackwater. Tyrion asks Bronn to kill Symon Silvertongue. Meeting with Tywin, Tyrion sees Oathkeeper and Hearteater. He reports on the financial need, but Tywin just tells him to figure it out. When Tywin schemes to see Slynt elevated to Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, Tyrion wishes he'd killed Slynt instead of sending him to the Wall.
