Tyrion wakes from a fever dream to realize he's in Cersei's clutches in Maegor's, kept sleeping with milk of the poppy and silent by a bandage over his mouth. Tyrion assumes this means Cersei sent Ser Mandon to kill him. Forcing Maester Ballabar to remove his bandage, Tyrion sees he has been made hideous by his wound he'd forgotten about.
