Dany trembles through her Dothraki wedding, fearing her wedding night. When the time comes, she fears her brother's wrath should she disappoint. But her husband is patient and gentle. With such a protector, her brother will never hurt her again.
Lesser Man
Jorah warns Viserys "A lesser man may beg a favor from the khal, but must never presume to berate him." Viserys warns Jorah he is no lesser man. "The dragon does not beg." 100 At the wedding, Viserys seethes at every dish offered to Drogo first (all of them).
Dany's first dragon dream
In Dany's dream, while being beaten by Viserys, Dany gets her period and a great ripping reveals the dragon. 101

For the Color of Your Hair
A few clues suggest Drogo sought out Dany to fulfill some requirement, almost certainly from the Dosh Khaleen, to marry a bride with silver hair and purple eyes. One such clue is that Dany's silver was selected for unearthly beauty, but also to match her hair. It seems more likely this horse was acquired before Drogo had met Dany than that she was part of the trade of horses and slaves that Illyrio made.
